… and revealed that he is the latest to publish a new comic book series through Marvel Comics. His Starboy persona, from his Starboy album a year ago, will be getting a new comic series under that name.

He signed autographs from the Marvel Booth at the Javits Center, and now stands alongside musicians The Black Eyed Peas when it comes to getting a Marvel comic book project on the stands.

And probably a lot less controversial than Northrop Grumman.

The Weeknd first rose to prominence around 2011 when he released three three nine-track mixtapes to critical acclaim: House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence.

His second studio album, Beauty Behind the Madness, became his first number one album on the US Billboard 200. His singles 'Earned It', 'The Hills', and 'Can't Feel My Face' simultaneously held the top three spots on the Billboard Hot R&B Songs chart, making him the first artist in history to achieve this. The Weeknd has won two Grammy Awards and nine Juno Awards.

In September 2016, the release of his third album Starboy was announced, along with the release of the title track single "Starboy", which subsequently reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100.
