SE: NYC '15 – It's Brian Bendis And David Marquez' Iron Man! Announced (UPDATE)

Third update: Added some more details below from Derek Trum and Madeline Ricchiuto at the show for Bleeding Cool.

Second Update: After both Newsarama and mistakenly read Bleeding Cool's report and ran their PR-arranged releases early, the project has now actually been announced at NYC Special Edition's Marvel panel. And PR-based reporting has had its sausage making process revealed.

But anyway, the new Invincible Iron Man by Bendis and Marquez is about to have his biological parents revealed, and will be getting a new armour that can transform into other armours, a new villain, new friends who aren't Avengers – and a new girlfriend. Update: : It's Iron Man. Newsarama just ran the news a little bit before it was actually announced. Possible because of the article we just ran… Invincible Iron Man by Brian Bendis and David Marquez. Out the same day as the final issue of Secret Wars…

Marvel announced Saturday a new Invincible Iron Man ongoing series for this fall's "All-New All-Different Marvel" line-up by Brian Michael bendis and David Marquez. The news came by way of the above image, released in the opening moments of the "Marvel Next Big Thing!" panel Saturday at Special Edition: NYC.

The Bleeding Cool original article runs below. It used to have the headline "Will It Be Iron Man? Brian Bendis' Marvel Panel Starts At NYC Special Edition."

I'm just saying, the character was prominent in both Marvel teasers. We don't know what book Brian Bendis is writing after Secret Wars, but it is likely to be prominent. And, well, this guy is straight up front ….

That's literally all we have to go on, folks!

Okay, it could also be Defenders, what with the Netflix focus.

Of Thunderbolts.

Hell, we're clueless

We'll find out very soon as Brian Bendis' panel is starting about… now.
