Dataminers Find Nine New Names In The 'Arms' Roster

It appears Nintendo is planning for the long haul when it comes to Arms. First, the confirmed news, which came from the Arms Twitter account announcing that a new update would be coming this month, as you can see below. The translated text says that a "Balance adjustment update scheduled to be carried out in the middle of next week" So that got some people curious as to what needed to be balanced, and they started digging.

Dataminers posted on Reddit the list you'll see below, cataloging what appears to be nine new character slots with what could be real names or just placeholders, along with the current list of characters. The list itself is kind of interesting as it hints that we'll be getting characters who have plant and scroll arms, as well as some sort of Sumo character. When these slots will get filled is another question entirely, but now that the info is out, it can't be long until we hear plans of a new fighter.
