Daybreak has participated in Extra Life since 2017, raising more than $650,000 for charity and supporting 86 hospitals nationwide. Donations go to local member hospitals that fund healthcare services, innovative research, vital pediatric medical equipment, child life services, and other hospital needs. All Daybreak employees and game communities will be invited to join Daybreak's Super Team and participate by supporting one of the four studio teams in the spirit of friendly competition. Daybreak will sponsor the four Extra Life studio teams, contributing $5,000 to each to kickstart the campaign. Each game and/or studio team has set its own fundraising goal and incentives with open invitations for their communities to participate. All funds will go directly to each team's local Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, where they will be used to support areas of greatest need. The individual teams include:

  • DC Universe Online (Austin)
  • Standing Stone Games (Boston)
  • PlanetSide 2 (San Diego)
  • Darkpaw Games (San Diego)
