'Dota 2' Announces Info For "The International 2017 Battle Pass"
Yesterday, Valve threw down details for The International 2017 Battle Pass for Dota 2. Now players looking for that digital ticket into tournaments will have more advantages and access to some of the biggest events coming up this summer before they hit Seattle later this season.
Included in the pass is the multiplayer campaign "Siltbreaker," which will focus more on Dota's history more than anything. The first act set to drop in May and the second half in July. The pass also includes Team Quests, Prestige Towers, Battle Point Tribute, collecting cards for your Favorite Team, being able to double-down on your rank, trivia games while in the queue, a host of new relics and other small additions. The base Battle Pass can be purchased for $10, or you can jump up to level 75 for the Mega Bundle at $37. You can also purchase additional levels can be purchased in intervals of 5, 11, and 24 for $3, $5 and $10 respectively. Finally, one-quarter of all Battle Pass sales go towards into this year's tournament pot, which as we write this currently sits at $3.6 million.
