Epic Games Alerts Fans Of Chapter 2 Season 2 Date For "Fortnite"

Epic Games has finally revealed when Chapter 2 Season 2 will kick off in Fortnite. But, of course, they're keeping some of the details to themselves. We now know that the current date is set for February 20th, 2020. However, as is with many dates set in the past, there's a chance that could change. They posted a small update about it, which we have for you below, but they redacted certain parts of it to keep you intrigued. Who really knows what it will entail, but if you're a longtime player, you know to keep an eye on the landscape.

Beginning with the release of the 11.50 update in early February, Fortnite will be moving to Unreal Engine's Chaos physics system. At launch, the goal is to ensure that Fortnite still feels like Fortnite. Along the way there will be some bumps, so we're starting tests with a small group of players. We'll also closely monitor feedback and make improvements over time.

With the addition of the 11.50 update, Chapter 2 – Season 2 is now expected to launch Thursday, February 20. Chapter 2 – Season 2 will feature REDACTED with multiple REDACTED. We can't brief you on all of next Season's secrets just yet…
