Epic Games Teases The Launch of Fortnite Season 9

Now that Epic Games has successfully destroyed part of the Fortnite island in their latest volcanic event, we now have a teaser for Season 9 to start. Today on Twitter the company sent out just a very simple message regarding the start of their next seasonal play, with just a picture of what appears to be some kind of samurai suit and the word that Season 9 will kick off this Thursday, May 9th.

What exactly the season has in store for you and I is unknown. Aside from the fact that you don't really have Tilted Towers to hang out in anymore, and that the fans voted to unlock the Drum Gun from the vault while they were suspended in limbo, there's no major reveals happening as to what the theme of this season is. It looks like that will just end up being a reveal on Thursday when everything kicks off that morning in everyone's game of Fortnite.
