Eve Online's CCP Games Are Making a New MMO, Claims Job Listing
A new job listing from Eve Online developer CCP Games has hinted that the developer might be working on a new MMO.
As spotted by MassivelyOP, the listing for a Lead Designer position states that the developer might soon be looking to expand its operation and portfolio. There aren't many specific details about the game that say what it will be, but what is there certainly plants some seeds. It says:
CCP is currently building a team in London to lead development on a new and highly ambitious MMORPG. We are looking to grow a relatively small, tight-knit team, capable of delivering big ideas through experience, smart process, and world-class tools.
It also states that the candidate should have lead several games, especially those with 'RPG Gameplay'.
That's all there is right now, so not a lot to go on; but seeing the developer restructure and move their resources from VR to new projects will be interesting. They are said to be working on Project Nova, and this seems like a whole other project on top of that. Seeing how they expand past Eve will certainly be something worth keeping an eye on.
