Fighting EX Layer Receives a Free Arcade Mode Update
If you happen to own a copy of Fighting EX Layer, you may have discovered a new surprise for the game you didn't expect. Arika decided to send out an update out of the blue and gave the game a brand-new free update that now gives you the ability to fight in Arcade Mode. Unfortunately, the mode itself isn't that grand or spectacular.
You face off against eight opponents chosen at random, followed by Hokuto as your end boss, with no story or cutscenes at all. So another potentially fun item that turned into a disappointment for the game. But hey, if you're training to fight at EVO 2018, it makes for a good opponent cranked on high. We have the rest of the update notes for Fighting EX Layer below.
Ver1.0.7 Changes (appver.1.0.7)
■Addition of a New Game Mode (System)
1) Addition of Arcade Mode. A one-player mode where you fight against the CPU across 7 stages.
■Revision of a Current System
2) Revision to the transition screen after finishing a Ranked Match. When you continue searching for a new opponent, you will now be brought back to the previous mode you were playing. *Previously you were brought back to the Main Menu when finished.
3) Reduced the occurances of stuttering while waiting to find an opponent for a Ranked Match.
