Indie game developer and publisher Forever Entertainment has revealed that Front Mission 1st: Remake will be getting a free update in the new year. The company sent out the small notice you see below, letting fans know that the "Mercenaries" update will be coming out sometime in 2024. With it will come some new content for the game to carry it along, including several new scenarios, a new multiplayer mode called Hot Seat, and a new set of characters as you'll be getting a new Commander to add to the mix, among others. The update comes as good news since the game hasn't really seen a lot of love lately. It got a few updates just after launch, but the fact is we haven't seen anything new for it since July. Now we just have to sit around and wait for them to give us an official release date for it.
