God of War's Completion Time Revealed at PSX
We still don't know exactly when God of War is expected to come out. The game has been showing for two E3s, but as of yet, we don't have a solid date on when to expect the title. My guess would be Fall 2018, but that is just that at this point. A guess. However, we did find out an interesting tidbit about the title over the weekend.
At the game's PSX panel, director Corey Barlog revealed the running length of the title. According to IGN, while he expected the game to be 15 hours long, it is now running closer to 25-35 based on recent tests.
That is actually a pretty beefy running time for a lot of modern single-player games. It's certainly substantial, anyway. Personally, I don't find completion time a very important factor in a game, but it can certainly be worth bearing in mind for purchasing reasons. Hopefully, the game fills all those hours with compelling content.
