Max Brass Gets His First Official Trailer For 'Arms' DLC
It's been a couple weeks since we announced that the main boss, Max Brass, would be the first DLC character for Nintendo's newest fighting game, Arms. Now the main boss of the game gets an official trailer for you to check him out in action from Nintendo's Japanese YouTube channel.
The character himself always looks OP, because that's how all bosses should be: a challenge to overcome. But his fighting style and choice of weapons look to be slightly nerfed compared to fighting him at the end of the game. He looks mighty impressive as you fight in his personal championship arena, but a lot of people have pointed out that he looks, feels, and plays a lot like a beefed-up version of Spring Man.
So while it's cool to have the main baddie in the game to fight with, hardcore players are quick to point out that he's basically already there in another incarnation — which means Nintendo have essentially put a new skin and extra power on an existing character.
That info probably won't turn players off from fighting as him; many will take it as a new challenge. But I'm sure there's a contingency of players who will gripe that they didn't get a truly original character. I say he's free to download, so ultimately it doesn't matter.
