Ninjara Was The Most-Played Character During The 'ARMS' Global Testpunch
This past weekend we saw the ARMS Global Testpunch take place, and despite all the fan outcry to get Twintelle added to the roster for the demo, Ninjara turned out to be the top character everyone played the most.
The news was broken on the official Japanese Twitter account for the game as the ARMS Global Testpunch was apparently better received than the Global Testfire that Splatoon 2 had just two months prior. Despite all the fan reactions, outcry, and eventual satisfaction when fan-favorite Twintelle was included, fans gravitated more toward a character that got little to know major promotion or fanfare compared to other characters like Helix and Barq & Byte.
Now I'm sure there will be people calling out Nintendo for not adding Twintelle on Friday and that somehow tipped the odds in Ninjara's favor. Unfortunately for them, she was only missing for one session on Friday, which really isn't enough to sway that may numbers considering the fact that people could have played the same character against each other. If anything, it reinforces the theory we had last week that people were demanding her in the game based on her look alone, despite not knowing how she plays. It is entirely possible that perhaps a portion of those players didn't like how she handled or what her weapons were, and moved onto someone different.
