NVIDIA's GTX 1080Ti Going Into MAINGEAR's Machines

Today, MAINGEAR and NVIDIA announced that going with their continuing partnership, the two will have the GTX 1080Ti added to the VYBE, R1 RAZER Edition, F131, DRIFT, RUSH, and Omen Xd. It's a hefty video card that's been winning praise on review sites, and now the company will be assuring buyers that it will be a part of their towers moving forward. In a  press release sent today, the company talked up the card: "Based on the NVIDIA Pascal architecture, the 1080 Ti features 385 NVIDIA CUDA cores and a massive 11GB of GDDR5x memory. With up to 35% more performance than the GTX 1080 and three times the power efficiency of NVIDIA's previous generation Maxwell graphics cards, the 1080 Ti is the ultimate choice for high-performance 4K and VR gaming."

Some of the additional features that were thrown into the press release include that all systems are designed for NVIDIA's G-SYNC technology to deliver a smoother experience. It will enhance movies with 4K, HDR, and NVIDIA Gameworks, and an option is available for the company's custom hardline water-cooling available. That's a nice piece of hardware going into some select systems, it'll be interesting to see if any streamers pick it up as a means to clean up their own video feeds, or at least present the games they're playing with better resolution.
