Jagex dropped a new developer diary today for Old School RuneScape, announcing a new addition to the game, as Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts will arrive next week. The team gathered the mods Halo, Rach, Rice, Sarnie, Spyro, and Tomb together to discuss the work that went into creating this new limited-time game mode, as you'll be thrown into a lava-filled demonic pit that will start every single experience off with a bit of an endurance run. More details will be released next week, but for now, enjoy the video ahead of its launch on April 15, 2026.

Complete tasks, fight echo bosses, and gain overpowered weapons. Leagues VI: Demonic Pacts is the latest installment of the fast-paced game mode that has appeared in the retro MMORPG. Hosted on separate worlds to the main game where everybody begins with a brand-new character, Leagues VI features boosted XP rates, new mechanics, and an all-new 'demonic pacts' skill tree that allows players to master and specialize in different combat styles. It also sees the return of unique drops from the mode's popular Echo Bosses.
