Ronda Rousey Will Attend Mortal Kombat 11's Reveal Event

A little bit of celebrity news in your gaming today as Ronda Rousey confirms online that she'll be at Mortal Kombat 11's reveal event. Rousey showed off her invitation, showing that she'll be at the event tomorrow morning as they show off the character reveals during the livestream kicking off at 11am PST on Twitch.

There are other celebrities attending the event, but the reason this one is so significant is that the rumor mill has been in high gear for weeks saying that Rousey will have something to do with the game. The most likely outcome is that she either voiced a character or she will be a playable character. If she's actually in the game, it would be the first time they put a real-world celebrity or athlete in the roster. But we're leaning more toward the idea that she'll be voicing a character in the game. Considering that the favorable rumor on that front is that the game has to deal with time travel, it could stand to reason that she'd be voicing a younger Sonya Blade, or possibly a more mature Cassie Cage. No matter what, her attendance will put extra eyes on Mortal Kombat 11 tomorrow.
