Sony's newest game, Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of DANA will be released in North America on September 12 of this year, and the trailer looks awesome. I'm a fan of anime RPG's, so thanks Sony. Thanks for taking more money from me. Our protagonist–Adol–is stranded on an island after a monster attacks his ship. Will our hero ever get home? Will this game be easy to beat? Will you buy it when it's released here (unless you're fancy and hip and already own the Japanese version)? All this and more at a later post, when I inevitably review this game!
But in all seriousness, I am enthralled by the graphics and cut scenes. I'm still a hardcore otaku at heart, so stuff like this still gets my heart aflutter.
