Someone is Trying to Bring Back the Old Dark Tower Board Game

Do you remember the Dark Tower board game from that '80s? It's totally okay if you don't because there's a chance it could come back. Restoration Games are a company that works toward bringing back old board games from over the years that you may remember from your youth. The company already had success in Kickstarting a fund to bring back Fireball Island, which they did this year and have been showing off at Gen Con this week. But the company announced at the convention and on Twitter that they want to bring back the Dark Tower board game.

In case you're not familiar with this game, Dark Tower was created by Milton Bradley back in 1981, and it had two cool things going for it. The first was that it was an electronic game (not based on Stephen King's novel) where you would input commands and find out how well you progressed on the light-up monitor, making every adventure unique. The second was this badass commercial with Orson Welles, back when Wells did commercials for everything.

The company plans to launch a Kickstarter this year with plans to release it in 2020.
