Soulja Boy Releases Another Gaming Console That Looks Familiar
After all the issues Soulja Boy has with his last gaming endeavor, you'd think he'd be done with retro consoles for a while. Nope! He's got a new one. And if you think he learned his lesson about copyright infringement, you might not want to look at the photo below. The new console is called the SouljaGame Handheld, and if you think you're eyes are playing tricks on you, they are not. The console is almost an exact ripoff copy of the PlayStation Vita. There are some minor differences between the two of them, but that case and that look are pretty much unmistakable for Sony fans. The console, which apparently is yet another retro unit with a bunch of Chinese ROMs loaded onto it, is listed for $100 on the site after it was somehow slashed down from $200 (Even though it barely went on sale this week).
Now, let's be honest here. To screw up once like this, you could easily take the loss and blame the company you worked with in producing it. But twice? That's where things become either malicious or this is just ignorance towards gaming in general. If you already had to pull one product off the shelf due to this kind of thing, you'd think that same person would be double-sure not to do it again. Anyway, we're basically just waiting for the eventual tweet from the hip-hop artist about how Sony can't do anything, followed by rumored litigation, and the eventual removal of the product. If you feel like purchasing another ripoff from SouljaBoy before it disappears at the formal request of Sony, it's still on the website as of today.
