Activision and developer Treayarch have revealed that the next content season for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will start tomorrow, April 30th, 2019. Called Operation Spectre Rising, the season features updates across the entire game, including a new specialist, new outfits, new personalization items, changes to the Blackout map, and new game modes.

You can check out the Spectre Rising trailer below.

Treyarch hosted a livestream this afternoon to discuss what fans can expect of Operation Spectre Rising with Matt ScronceMiles LeslieCraig HoustonMark Maestas, and David Vonderhaar. The stream covers the Black Ops 4 debut of the Spectre specialist, new multiplayer gameplay, new Zombies Gauntlet footage, and new additions to the Blackout battle royale mode. One of the snazziest new additions with Operation Spectre Rising is the ability to change the water level in Blackout, you know, by blowing up a damn and letting physics do the rest. Another new addition to the mode will be 50 v. 50 in Blackout. Because hey, if it worked for Fortnite

You can check out the recording of the livestream here.

Previous updates to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 included The Replacer as a specialist, a map based on Alcatraz, and even a tournament just for Blackout players.
