Call Of Duty Might Be Going To Space This Year
There is a a growing sentiment I've seen that suggests people might be bored of sci-fi Call of Duty. It might be a loud majority, but it's an opinion I see passed around more and more, especially as the series has focused on future war instalments for years.
If this new report is to be believed, those people might again be upset this year. According to the rather reliable Shinobi (and later verified by Eurogamer sources), the game will take place in the "Very far future". "Space combat" to be exact. Nothing is confirmed here, but it's really all we've heard out of Infinity Ward's next venture, so it could well paint us a picture.
It's hard to know what to make of this, or even if this holds water, despite solid pedigree saying it is. Until we see the game in motion, it's hard to comment. However, if we really went far, far into the future, that really could give Call of Duty a new feel. We will have to see if this comes to pass.
