I've been a huge fan of Austin Wintory's work for a while. His grammy nominated work for Journey speaks for itself, and the work he has put into other smaller titles has been beautiful.
Interestingly he is going to be taking on a mega franchise this year though, composing the score for Assassin's Creed: Syndicate. Seeing how he takes on such a large franchise will be fascinating.
To catch a sneak preview of his work in the game, take a look at this video. It's a nice mix of meaty action beats and understated piano led music. As a man who adores scores, I'm rather excited for this.
