Monster Hunter Cross Over Costumes Coming To Street Fighter V For Free
Capcom has announced it will be providing Monster Hunter: World costumes in Street Fighter V for three of its characters.
Capcom has had a busy January. Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition hit not long ago, and tomorrow, we will be introduced to the full version of Monster Hunter: World. Both have reviewed well, so it's two big wins for the company who are starting off 2018 right. Those two games are going to see some crossover soon too.
Capcom has announced that three skins based on the Rathalos, Zinorge and Kirin outfits in Monster Hunter: World will be coming to the game for Ken, R. Mika and Ibuki. Coming to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition's Extra Battle Mode, each costume will be able to be earned in game for free. It will take a bit of work though, as you will need to show up and do 4 fights over 4 weeks. Here's how it will work:
- Each costume requires you to complete four challenges that take place over the span of a month – one challenge per week.
- Each time you attempt one of these challenges, you must spend 2,500 Fight Money. In other words, if you successfully complete each of the weekly challenges in one go, you can get that Extra Battle Costume for 10,000 FM!
- Once you complete all four challenges, the costume for that month is yours!
- These challenges are time exclusive, so make sure to log in each week to complete them, especially if you have your eyes on that month's unique costume.
To get Ken's, you'll need to do a fight each week between February 27 – March 29, R. Mika March 8 – April 5 and Ibuki from March 15 – April 12. You'll have to be juggling those all at the same time, so good luck with that. That all being said, they look rad as hell. Get at them.
