PSA: Origin Accounts Being Renamed To EA Accounts
This is just a bit of a heads up.
If you use Origin, EA's online PC platform, things are going to go through a few minor changes over the next few days. If you notice that your 'Origin account' becomes an 'EA account' don't freak out. This is all planned. The company has announced that this change is being made "to better represent all of EA's games and services."
It doesn't seem to affect anything so this should be merely cosmetic. I wonder if this means that the Origin name will be phased out over time to better represent EA, or if it is merely just the accounts changing. We will see.
