Uncharted, The Last Of Us, God Of War And More Will Soon Be Playable On PC As PlayStation Now Is Confirmed For Platform
We caught wind of this recently, but it is great to have this confirmed.
It's now officially been announced that PlayStation Now is coming to PC. That is Sony's streaming service which has an extensive library of a lot of PlayStation classics and a good variety of older games (you can see all the available games here). No date has been confirmed, but it will be coming to the UK first and then elsewhere soon after.
Here are the specs you'll need:
- Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
- 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
- 300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
- Sound card; USB port
- Minimum 5Mbps internet connection
Since it is a streaming service, you won't need a high quality PC at all.
The underlining big piece of news about this is that a bunch of big Sony games just opened up to a big audience. The Last of Us, the Uncharted series, God of War, Ratchet and Clank, all of these can now be played without a Sony console annd instead on your PC. That is a big deal.
