Xbox One Getting A New Dashboard Layout With Cortana Support
The Xbox One dashboard is 'fine' by me, but I've never found it particularly inviting to play games. That is likely a relic of when the console was going to be much more focused on entertainment as a whole, but as Microsoft have moved back to games exclusively, it doesn't feel quite right.
That is why I'm happy to hear that the Xbox One is getting a dashboard overhaul. This will come with a whole new way to interact with your community and games in a much more attractive way (in my opinion). It will also have Cortana support, bringing a Siri type app to a game console.
Take a look at it in action with this video. The ad is very flashy and I would like to see something a little simpler, but from what I can see, I'm impressed.
