Waven Releases New Season Of Lance Dur – Chapter 1: Cire Momore

While the game may still be in Early Access, the devs at Ankama Games are releasing seasonal content for Waven, wit a new chapter today.

Indie game developer and publisher Ankama Games have released new content for Waven today, with the new Season Of Lance Dur – Chapter 1: Cire Momore. The game is still technically in Early Access, so whether you count this is actual content for the game or not is up to you since it's not the full game. However, it does serve as their Halloween addition to the game, so it's basically seasonal. We have the full rundown fo everything they've added, as this will be in the game until November 21.

Discover a New Competitive Game Mode

The hunt has begun, and the confrontation is inevitable… A new time portal has opened in the World of Twelve, and the frightful Cire Momore is waiting for you on the other side, ready for a fight. An all-new PvE game mode is now available on the new Competitive Island in WAVEN! Visit the time portal every day to take part in the fight – it is only available until November 21.

Climb to the Top of the Leaderboard

Play as Count Lance Dur, a legend of the Krosmoz and the faithful representative of the Astramantis, fearsome warriors who wield devastating lances. You can preview playing as this brand-new hero in the time portal and discover all his spells, attacks, and passives! Survive the onslaught of the dreadful Cire Momore and the Deathburns. Whether you try to run away or jump into the fray, you can't escape. But be one of the best adventurers, staying alive as long as possible, to walk away with a real treasure!

Unlock Unique Rewards and Strengthen Your Deck

At the end of Chapter 1, the best players on the leaderboard will receive chests, Wakfu Fragments, and gems to buy cosmetic items in WAVEN's in-game shop, such as character or companion skins, visual effects, and emotes! And if you don't make it to the top 100, don't worry! All participants will go home with 500 Wakfu Fragments, which can be exchanged for brand-new Albuera Chests, adding new rings, armbands, spells, and companions to your decks. This new content will add even more possibilities to the game and let you discover completely new ways of playing your characters!

A Revamped Waven Battle Pass

This new season ushers in a new era for the WAVEN Battle Pass. Every week, you'll find new challenges – some linked to the time portal – that will earn you between 10 and 50 stars. Some challenges are harder than others, so they'll earn you more stars. These stars will build up, letting you access tiered battle pass rewards. So complete as many challenges as you can by playing WAVEN and walk away with valuable loot to help you in your adventure!
