AJ Styles Challenges John Cena To A Title Match To Kick Off WWE SmackDown

Everyone's favorite wrestler, John Cena, accepted an open challenge from AJ Styles last night on WWE SmackDown for the US Championship title. Things were about to go underway, when former title holder Kevin Owens interrupted the match. Owens insisted no one wanted to see this match, and that no one wanted Cena back…which is a great story line.

I will say that SmackDown has far better story lines than Raw, especially with Cena back in the ring. And then Rusev came into the ring, and oh my God, what is this? Ruso and Owens took down Styles and Cena, leaving them battered in the ring.

I'd like to see Cena have the belt back, but I think Styles does deserve it too. I'm sure something will happen before the next pay per view (Battleground) and the title will be up for grabs again. I don't think it'll go back to Owens anytime soon, but I could be wrong. But because of the interference, we'll be having a tag team match, which is sure to be one helluva match!
