Is There Another Amazon And Atlantean Fight Coming To The DCEU?

An image on social media has once again sent people into a panic that there's likely no reason for. One of the stunt women who worked on Wonder Woman posted this picture to Instagram, and people automatically assumed she means more work on Justice League.

We don't think that's the case, though. While we do know that the Amazons show up in Justice League from the trailer, there is a chance they're talking about another DC Extended Universe (DCEU) movie.

In that battle, we see what appear to be Atlanteans, as well. There have been a lot of people thinking this flashback will show the Amazons and the Atlanteans fighting Steppenwolf's forces in the past. If this is the case and they have fought side by side in the past, the most logical movie she could be talking about is Aquaman. It's the only DCEU movie currently filming, and there's no reason to think they are still doing Justice League reshoots this late in the game.

Summary: Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.

Justice League, directed by Zack Snyder, stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher. and Henry Cavill. It will be released on November 17th.

Summary: Arthur Curry learns that he is the heir to the underwater kingdom of Atlantis, and must step forward to lead his people and to be a hero to the world.

Aquaman will be directed by James Wan and stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Nicole Kidman, Patrick Wilson, and Willem Dafoe. It will be released December 21st, 2018.
