Ant-Man and The Wasp: Evangeline Lilly Talks a Possible Ant-Man 3

Ant-Man and The Wasp is getting its North American release today, and Marvel Studios has continued to keep the promotion train chugging. Marvel has released two critical TV spots that showcase the positive reviews for the third Marvel movie of 2018.

Now that this movie is out in most locations, people are already asking if there is going to be a third one. The Hollywood Reporter recently spoke to star Evangeline Lilly about whether or not there will be a third movie.

At this point, my understanding is that we need to get butts in the theater seats again if we're going to have another film. So if everyone gets out and watches it, then I would assume we'll have another one. I hope we'll have another one, because I really want to do it again, but I don't know right now.

Right now Ant-Man and The Wasp is on track to have a solid opening weekend. It's not going to hit the numbers of Black Panther or Avengers: Infinity War, but Marvel and Disney aren't expecting it to. While there is steady competition in the month of July, Marvel movies tend to have legs when it comes to the box office — so no matter what happens this weekend, this movie is going to do just fine.

Summary: As Scott Lang balances being both a Super Hero and a father, Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym present an urgent new mission that finds the Ant-Man fighting alongside The Wasp to uncover secrets from their past.

Ant-Man and The Wasp, directed by Peyton Reed, stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Hannah John-Kamen, Michael Douglas, and Michael Peña. It will be released on July 6th.
