Check Out The New Immersive Arcade Cabinet Star Wars: BattlePod

I've been hearing about the Star Wars: BattlePod for a while now, but it has taken a while for me to finally catch a glimpse of it. I knew it was being developed by Bandai Namco and had a wrap around screen, but that didn't mean much without seeing it in action.

This video shows just that and I have to say, I'm all in. It's pretty interesting to see how the cabinet is made, but seeing it in action is the real treat. Flying through iconic Star Wars scenes with that screen must be pretty cool.

That other cool thing here is to see such fare being made about a new arcade cabinet. The is certainly meant for the Japanese market, but I wouldn't be upset if this turned up somewhere in the UK. I'd love to give it ago.
