This is one of those movies we didn't think was going to look at good as it does. When Warner Bros. announced their intentions to make a Detective Pikachu movie no one thought it was a good idea. Now the footage is making it look like one of the movies to keep an eye out for. While walking the floor at CinemaCon with photographer Denzel Eslinger we found a new poster for Detective Pikachu plus a new standee which was terrible to take pictures of because of how Warner Bros. decided to light the logo.

Summary: In a world where people collect pocket-size monsters (pokemon) to do battle, a boy comes across an intelligent monster who seeks to be a detective.

Detective Pikachu, directed by Rob Letterman, stars Ryan Reynolds, Justice Smith, Ken Watanabe, Bill Nighy, Suki Waterhouse, Rita Ora, and Chris Geere. It will be released on May 10th, 2019.
