Classic WWE Home Video Releases From 80s and 90s Hit WWE Network on Monday

Sit back, kids, and let Uncle Jude tell you a story. Back in the day, before the world of streaming video subscription services, we had to get our pro wrestling fix from something called "VHS Cassettes." The "video tapes," as we called them, could be found at your local independent video rental store. Oh yeah, we also had local independent stores back then too. It was a strange time.

Anyway, back then WWE, or WWF as it was known at the time, used to release video compilations on these "video tapes," and you could rent them from the store, take them home with you, and watch them… as long as you remembered to "rewind" them and bring them back a few days later. Otherwise you had to pay a fee, and… you know what, maybe things weren't so great back in the day after all, now that we think about it.

Thank god for subscription video streaming services, because WWE is set to release a bunch of Coliseum Home Video releases from the late 80s and 90s on the WWE Network this month. The videos will all be available in the Vault section under a subheading WWE Home Video Classics beginning February 5. WWE Network News has the full listing of videos that will be available, which we've copied and pasted below:
