D23 Has Shut Down Overnight Lines For All But Hall E Tonight
According to the latest reports coming from the D23 Expo in Anaheim, CA tonight, the convention has broken out the ban hammer on overnight lines for all but Hall E of the convention center. And those in the Hall E line, well, you can't break out your tents and sleeping bags tonight, as they do not want you to bring any items that cannot easily fit into a backpack or bag.
This report makes its way to you thanks to an intrepid D23 attendee, Twitter user Bri Nichole, who posted a screenshot of what appears to be of a D23 Hours of Operation and Queues page, which lists several special rules for Sunday queues of the overnight variety.

A quick search of the D23 website nets a slightly different list under the "Things to Know" page, but the details are indeed the same:
Advance lineups for access to the Show Floor and Hall D23 (all Guests) will take place the evening prior to Friday, July 14 and Saturday, July 15. No overnight lineups will take place the evening prior to Sunday, July 16.
For Friday, July 14, lineups will begin on Thursday, July 13 at 10 p.m. For Saturday, July 15, lineups will begin on Friday, July 14 at 10 p.m. Upon arrival at the Anaheim Convention Center, please refer to signs and event staff members to direct you to the correct entrance for overnight or early morning queues.
For Sunday, July 16, the Show Floor and Hall D23 lineups will begin no earlier than 6 a.m. at the Grand Plaza area of the Anaheim Convention Center. To attend the presentations in Hall D23, enter through the main lobby and follow signs and event staff directions to the queue in Hall E.
Please do not bring anything that cannot easily be stored in a backpack or smaller-size bag since there is no place to store/check items until the Show Floor opens. Please do not leave items unattended. A concession stand offering a limited menu will be open in Hall E for your convenience. No re-entry is allowed, and all members of your party must be present (no holding space in line for others to join later).
So if you were planning to sleep out on the streets of Anaheim tonight to get your Sunday con exclusives, you will have to wait until 6 am PST to show up and queue. Which absolutely means that it is going to be a madhouse at the convention center when the ban lifts at 6. And if we're being reasonable, probably starting at about 5:30, because some people like to be fifteen minutes early to being fifteen minutes early.
Either way, get some sleep, and try not to commit murder during those queue lines. We know con exclusives are a major deal, but it probably isn't worth the jail time.
