Daredevil Season 3 Filming in Manhattan on Monday

So if you find yourself on Park and 51 and braving the cold streets of Manhattan, maybe pop by and take a look?

The third season of the Daredevil, is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios, with Erik Oleson serving as showrunner, and series creator Drew Goddard acting as consultant.

Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock, with Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson and Vincent D'Onofrio as The Kingpin, returning from previous seasons, with Wilson Bethel joining them as an unnamed FBI Agent. The season was ordered in July 2016. In October 2017, Oleson was announced as the showrunner for the season. Filming began in November 2017. The season is expected to be released in 2018.

The ending of the miniseries The Defenders, (spoilers) saw Matt Murdock waking up in a convent surrounded by nuns after being presumed dead, implying that elements of the season would be inspired by the classic Frank Miller Born Again story arc,

And so it seems, Charlie Cox has stated he was excited to be part of adapting Born Again, calling it "an amazing story" and that the implications of the story on the season "would be very exciting". He cautioned, however, that it would not be a "page-for-page" adaption, "because if you do [that], then you become a foregone conclusion. There may be elements from Born Again, but I'm sure there will be elements that are unfamiliar and surprising and different in order for the show to be compelling to fans who know the comics very well."

More news when we have it, and if anyone walking past the shoot can get any clues regarding Wilson Bethel, do let us know…
