Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Rosario Dawson Followed By Star Wars On Twitter, Prompting Last Jedi Casting Speculation
In what is practically a legally binding agreement these days, superstar actors Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Rosario Dawson have been followed by the official Star Wars twitter account, according to a report from Geek Outpost. Since the only reason anyone in Hollywood ever follows anyone else on Twitter is when they have signed on to a film or TV show, the move is expected to mean that both Johnson and Dawson will be announced as cast members of a future Star Wars: The Last Jedi at Star Wars Celebration this weekend, though we suppose it is possible that the two will be cast in a different Star Wars film. What is certainly not possible, however, is that the follow activity is a mere coincidence not an indicator of a pending deal.
In addition to the twitter transaction, Dawson recently updated her Twitter bio to a Yoda quote, indicating she may have signed a multi-picture deal. Bleeding Cool will have reporters on the scene at Star Wars Celebration, which is unfortunate, because the wifi is likely to be spotty, preventing those reporters from checking Twitter for Star Wars news. We'll do our best to keep you updated anyway.
