Emma Stone Will Host Saturday Night Live When It Returns On December 3rd
Saturday Night Live has been undergoing something of a creative renaissance lately, fueled in no small part by a great need for humor in our current political climate, and also driven by the sheer force of comedy that is Kate McKinnon (and the rest of the cast isn't bad either). The show will be on a break this coming weekend as Americans recover from binging on turkey and stuffing, but when it returns on December 3rd, Emma Stone, star of Amazing Spider-Man and Amazing Spider-Man 2, will be the host. The musical guest will be Shawn Mendes, who I'm sure will deliver a performance that will leave me feeling like I just don't understand music anymore, as most SNL musical performances do.
Here's the three funniest sketches from this past weekend's show, hosted by Kristen Wiig (it was three fourths of a Ghostbusters: Answer The Call reunion!) as based purely on my own opinion (I write for Bleeding Cool and you don't, so that's why I get to decide):
I thought they were funny, but someone else disagrees:
Come on, Mr. President, lighten up. The Bubble satirized liberals nicely, I think.
