First Look at "Bond 25" in a New Behind-the-Scenes Reel
The production of Bond 25 has been problematic even for a 007 movie. Between losing the director mere months before production was set to start, getting delayed not once but twice, and two on-set accidents one of which left the star injured. That sort of bad press can kill a movie so it isn't that surprising that MGM is looking to counter that. We don't usually see anything from Bond movies this early but the official youtube account for the franchise shared a behind-the-scenes reel from the Jamaica set.
Not only do we see director Cary Joji Fukunaga and star Daniel Craig but we also get a first look at Jeffrey Wright and Lashana Lynch. It's a smart move for a production that has non-stop negative press since before a single frame was filmed.
Summary: Bond has left active service. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.
Bond 25, directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga, stars Daniel Craig, Rami Malek, Ralph Fiennes, Lea Seydoux, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw, Rory Kinnear, Jeffrey Wright, Dali Benssalah, Billy Magnussen, Ana De Armas, David Dencik, and Lashana Lynch. It is scheduled to be released on April 8, 2020.
