First Trailer and Poster for The Girl in the Spider's Web
The process of adapting the late Stieg Larsson's Millennium book series has been an odd one. There were two different versions of the first book, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. The first one was in the book native Swedish in 2009 while the second was an American remake in 2011. Then American remake didn't do as well as Sony Pictures might have liked despite an A-list cast and a prime award season release date. They've been dragging their feet on a sequel for years, but it seems they're finally ready to show us the next entry into the series. They've changed actresses, but The Crown's Claire Foy seems more than ready to take on this role in the first trailer.
We also go our first poster.
Whether or not this one will strike a cord with audiences has yet to be seen, but it looks like it's going to be just as harrowing as the first movie was.
