Matt Fraction and Kelly Sue DeConnick's deal with Universal Studios to create television series, will include a show based on The Wicked + The Divine by Kieron Gillen, Jamie McKelvie and Matt Wilson, currently published by Image Comics.One of Bleeding Cool's favourite current comics, the series about returning gods possessing the bodies of the young, to shine brightly for a very limited time, Deadline reports that Universal Television "has optioned the rights to the property for Matt Fraction and Kelly Sue DeConnick's Milkfed Criminal Masterminds"Deadline also points out "In Bleeding Cool's survey of 2014 Best of Year lists, it appeared in 12, the most of any new creator-owned series." Which is true...
