Microsoft Are Going To Do "Some Things Different" At E3 2015
I think Microsoft have had pretty decent press conferences during their last two E3 showings. They haven't been mindbending like the infamous Sony confrence in 2013, but they have been heavily game focused, rubbing off the stigma that the corporation cares more about TV and movies than it does about games.
Speaking to the Inner Circle Podcast (via GameSpot), Xbox Marketing Director Aaron Greenberg said that the company might be headed for a different approach this year though. Greenberg said:
Expect a lot of surprises. We have some ideas to do some things different at E3 this year that we haven't done before. I think we're going to take a little bit of a different approach to E3 this year. But I feel really good about it. It's been really exciting.
Expect us to talk a lot about games. And if you're an Xbox owner, I think you're going to leave really, really, really happy in the investment you made. And if you're undecided, we hope that you will look at what we deliver on games and want to buy an Xbox.
How will they do things differently? I don't know. As stated I actually thought the company had found its stride, it just needed to announce bigger games. I hope they don't tamper too much with a solid formula.
