New Behind-the-Scenes Featurette for Bad Times at the El Royale

20th Century Fox is producing some interesting projects later this year and one of the ones that's looking very interesting is Bad Times at the El Royale. In a fall and winter season packed with adaptations, sequels, remakes, and reboots Bad Times at the El Royale is one of the few original IP's that looks like it could be worth something. There is a lot going on in this movie and it's marketing material is doing a very good job of hiding what this movie is actually about. This new behind-the-scenes featurette doesn't tell us much but it does feature the cast gushing about how excited they are for this project and director/writer Drew Goddard talking about his strive to give a theater worthy experience.

Summary: Seven strangers, each with a secret to bury, meet at Lake Tahoe's El Royale, a rundown hotel with a dark past. Over the course of one fateful night, everyone will have a last shot at redemption… before everything goes to hell.

Bad Times at the El Royale, directed by Drew Goddard, stars Jeff Bridges, Cynthia Erivo, Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm, Cailee Spaeny, Lewis Pullman, Nick Offerman, and Chris Hemsworth. It will be released on October 5th.
