New Concept Art from Ant-Man and the Wasp
While all eyes are currently on Avengers: Infinity War, there is another Marvel movie coming out this year. Ant-Man and the Wasp has dropped its first teaser trailer, and now we have a new piece of concept art of the Wasp from Empire Magazine. Director Peyton Reed talked about how important it was to him that the Wasp have second billing in this movie.
"It was important to me, in this movie called Ant-Man and the Wasp, that she's not a supporting character," he said. "She's a lead character. She's become a fully-formed hero."
At the moment fans are wondering what kind of role Scott Lang is going to play in Avengers: Infinity War. Him and Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton have been absent from the promo material, though we know they will be making appearances. We're also unsure when Ant-Man and the Wasp takes place. Is it before Infinity War or after? We'll have to wait and see.
Summary: As Scott Lang balances being both a Super Hero and a father, Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym present an urgent new mission that finds the Ant-Man fighting alongside The Wasp to uncover secrets from their past.
Ant-Man and the Wasp, directed by Peyton Reed, stars Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Hannah John-Kamen, Michael Douglas, and Michael Peña. It will be released on July 6th.
