New Lone Ranger Clip: Secret Origins Of The Hat And Mask

YouTube has been graced with an interesting new clip from Disney's The Lone Ranger, this one offering up the secrets of his origins. Or the origins of his outfit, anyway.

It's always nice to have an insight in to the reasons for a character's chosen attire, particularly why they might choose to hide their true identity behind mask. The Lone Ranger is going for a realistic and believable reason behind John Reid's decision… though I don't know how effective that simple little domino affair is going to be.
The Lone Ranger promises action, comedy and an extraordinarily long runtime. It hits cinemas in the US on 3rd July and in the UK on 9th August, but Londoners do have a chance to see it early on us.
