New Trailer For The Equalizer Starring Denzel Washington
More ass-kicking and an unexpected Hemingway analogy in the new trailer released for Sony's The Equalizer, the thriller that reunites Training Day actor/director duo Denzel Washington and Antoine Fuqua.
He plays a guy who works at a home improvement store but is clearly even handier with a hammer than most people there, as evidenced when a bad guy dares to steal a ring from his co-worker. When he witnesses some men rough up Chloe Moretz's young prostitute, he again takes matter into his own hands, only this time he messed with not just some dumb thugs, but a section of the Russian mafia.
But something – maybe the fact that a sequel is already in the works – tells me that he'll come out on the other end of this one just fine too. The Equalizer comes out on September 26th.
