NYCC '15: Marvel Jessica Jones' Tie To Iron Fist

CarrieAnneMossYesterday we learned the name of Carrie-Anne Moss' character in the upcoming Netflix original series Marvel's Jessica Jones. The former Matrix star will be playing Jeryn Hogarth, a lawyer who worked for Wendell Rand, father of Danny Rand / Iron Fist. Hogarth became executor of the Rand estate. Upon Danny's return from K'un-Lun, Hogarth hired Misty Knight and Colleen Wing to contact Iron Fist and verify who he was.

Hogarth helped Danny get his half of the estate and later would aide Heroes For Hire as their legal representative.

Just how Hogarth fits into Marvel's Jessica Jones and how it ties into Iron Fist remains to be seen. One thing to note, Jeryn Hogarth in the comics is male.It will be interesting to see what lead to the gender switch… if it had to do with getting the best actor or if they had a role in mind and found a character from the comics that would work.

Marvel's Jessica Jones debuts on November 20th on Netflix.
