Bright: New Red Band Trailer For The Netflix Original Movie
People aren't really talking about the new Netflix original movie Bright, but maybe they should be. There are a ton of really awesome-looking movies coming out before 2017 bows out, and this one is kind of late in the game. Still, it looks interesting, and Netflix just released a new red band trailer with plenty of F-bombs for your viewing pleasure.
The thing that's going to make or break this movie is going to be the world-building. The idea of blending the real world with a bunch of high-fantasy creatures like orcs and elves is interesting, but if they haven't put the work behind it, this entire production could fall apart. As it is right now, this trailer looks really cool. Will Smith appears to be at peak Will Smith, playing the grumpy old man version of his character from Men in Black.
Summary: Set in a world where mystical creatures live side by side with humans. A human cop is forced to work with an Orc to find a weapon everyone is prepared to kill for.
Bright, directed by David Ayer, stars Smith, Joel Edgerton, Noomi Rapace, Happy Anderson, and Jay Hernandez. It will stream to Netflix and in select theaters on December 22nd.
