Rob Liefeld Agrees: It's China's Loss They Didn't Want to See Deadpool Pegged

Superstar comic book artist and Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld took to Twitter to reminisce about the success of the first Deadpool movie last weekend. Though Liefeld scarcely needs a reason to crow about Deadpool's success, he was likely inspired by the box office victory of Sonic the Hedgehog, which was produced by Deadpool director Tim Miller. Liefeld tweeted:

Though Liefeld noted that the movie could have been even bigger if not for the prudishness of China:

And when a fan pointed out that it was clearly China's loss, not Deadpool's, Liefeld was forced to agree:

Unlike Deadpool, Sonic the Hedgehog will eventually see a release in China once the coronavirus situation is figured out. Our only question is: how come China had no problem with Sonic getting pegged in his movie? Oops… spoilers!
