Sam Neill Offers Some Interesting Theories As To Where Alan Grant Is In Jurassic World

Alan Grant and many of the other characters in the Jurassic Park mythos were conspicuously absent from Jurassic World. While it makes sense that they probably want nothing to do with the park, their whereabouts is still an interesting qustion.

Sam Neill has given up some neat theories as to where Alan Grant might be though. Speaking to ShortList, the actor posited these ideas:

The problem is that no one knows where Alan Grant is. He's retired from paleontology. He's sick to death of dinosaurs and running. He's not as fleet of foot as he was, and he's now retired to Dayton, Ohio, and has a successful accountancy business. I think that's what's happened to Alan. Either that or he's dead.

When asked if he has gotten a call from Universal about Jurassic World 2, he said:

The call hasn't come. No one can find Grant. He's disappeared. Someone found his ha, which was floating on the Hudson river, but that was the last anyone heard of him.

I would actually love to see the major players come back in some way here. Seeing thier response to yet another breakout in a Jurassic Park, and giving them the opportunity to give it the biggest 'I told you so… again' could be fun.
