Sofia Boutella Cast In 'Fahrenheit 451' With Michael B. Jordan

Film Title: The MummyHBO is making an adaptation of Fahrenheit 451 and it just got its second star. Sofia Boutella has joined the cast as the female lead of the classic Ray Bradbury novel according to The Hollywood Reporer. She joins Michael B. Jordan and Michael Shannon

Bradbury's 1953 novel is set in a futuristic America where books are outlawed and those that are discovered are burned by "firemen." Jordan will play Montag, a young fireman who forsakes his world, battles his mentor and struggles to regain his humanity. Shannon will portray Beatty, Montag's captain and mentor.

The book is a classic that has been adapted several times in the past including a movie in 1966 and a radio show in 1982. Ramin Bahrani and Amir Naderi wrote the HBO adaptation while Bahrani will direct the telepic.
